The lightest and most powerful motor available industry-wide. This PL-350 system is now the most popular BionX conversion kit in the US, ideal for the long distance performance rider as well as any cyclist looking for a lightweight system. Most suitable high torque for the steepest terrain or for those carrying more weight. Showing how far the industry has come, the Lithium-ion 36V battery on this system provides nearly twice the amount of energy contained in the 24V NiMH battery, the battery first featured when electric bikes appeared on the scene, which was commercialized by BionX in 2003.
The PL-350 System is available with BionX custom rear rack pictured at bottom right. Includes a wired-in rear safety light and cable for optional front light.
Model PL-250
Adequate power and range for most cyclists, and all the technological advantages of BionX. Good for longer commutes and light mountain rides. Available only in standard battery style.
Model PL-250 Light

When your bike frame does not allow for a standard center frame battery installation, rear rack installation is an option.

Rear Rack Installation
When your bike frame does not allow for a standard center frame battery installation, rear rack installation is an option.
The BionX PL-350W can be ordered as a model with a unique design that fits into its own custom rack, leaving the top of the rack available: Kit Model PL-350W RearRack below and pictured at right.
Alternatively, or for a standard BionX PL-250W battery, the battery can be installed atop the rear rack or in a harness that hangs from the rack.

When ordering, you must indicate whether the battery will be mounted on the frame or rear rack in order to receive your rack and longer cables (included in PL-350W RR orders). |
