Quick-Connect: The battery pack features Ohm’s custom quick-connect system and a sturdy handle so it’s easy to remove and replace--for recharging when you get to your destination, for removing some weight when loading onto the bus or train, or for greater security when you need it. Just unlock it, pop it out, and carry it.

- Performance: High output, quick discharge for on-demand power, with lightweight design.
- Convenience: The "smart" charger will charge the battery in 3-4 hours if entirely depleted. (Battery recharges in about 20 minutes if only 25% depleted; 1 hour at 50%.) When charged, an indicator light illuminates, and the battery automatically returns to power-save mode. Lithium-ion batteries do not retain memory and maintain steady power output throughout their lifespan of 500 complete charges. After this, their capacity is reduced 80% for another cycle of charges, and so forth, providing a potential 8-10 year lifespan.

Ohm Frames
The Ohm’s custom frame is designed for greater stability to support the battery’s low center of gravity placement. The double-butted 7005 aluminum makes for stronger, exceptionally light frames. 7005 Aluminum is an aerospace-grade aluminum that is 5-10% stronger than 6061 aluminum. Double-butted tubes are specially drawn so that they are thinner in the middle, minimizing weight, and thicker at the ends of the tubes where stresses are highest on welded seams. The process of drawing and butting tubes also work-hardens the aluminum, increasing the strength of 7005 aluminum by roughly 20%. Double-butted 7005 tubes are significantly stronger than equivalent-weight plain-gauge 7005.
Built-In Lights: All models feature a front and rear lighting system powered by the front hub dynamo. The system also functions as a parking light for your convenience and security.
