From experience gained with Ekar 13s Campagnolo has developed new cassettes for the Super Record 13 groupset designed to provide smoother faster more precise and silent shifting. Thanks to the reduced thickness of the sprockets and optimized spacing it has been possible to add an extra sprocket without changing the well established N3W freewheel body standard or the need for adapters or dedicated hubs. The new tooth profile combined with the Black Chrome surface finish improves noise reduction wear resistance and durability over time. The progression of gear ratios is more gradual favouring an ideal cadence in all conditions from uphill to flat sections. The smaller difference between the sprockets ensures more efficient effort management helping the athlete to optimize performance and reduce fatigue.
